While every day, we strive to keep child passenger safety at the forefront, Sept. 18-24, officially marks Child Passenger Safety Week where there is an emphasis on these efforts. Sept. 24 is National Seat Check Saturday.

Every 33 seconds, a child is involved in a crash according to the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA). Many of the injuries or deaths can be prevented by using the correct car seat and properly installing the seat and securing the child.
